Service Description

The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering is a vocational qualification designed to develop a limited number of barbering skills to a high level of occupational ability and will prepare you to enter the men’s hairdressing sector as a junior barber. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 years and over. The qualification includes the units to prepare you to work effectively as a junior barber, including client consultation for hair services, cutting men’s hair, cutting facial hair and following health and safety in the salon. This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work safely throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients. Here at ELEVATE ACADEMEY we offer hands-on practical training as well as the theory behind how we approach each technique used to become a successful barber. Please note a barber kit will be required with essential tools to complete the tasks. we can provide a full kit for the reduced cost of £495 (usually £615 RRP).
